Its a reference to Harmut Esslinger, lead designer at Frog Design.Frog Design was responsible for several early Apple designs including the Apple IIc, and Esslinger defined the 'Snow White' style used by Apple during the 1980s. The original Apples were sometimes called Mac Frogs or Frog Macs.

I am trying to level my Inscriptioning and it is currently at 510, however I am level 75. The thing that levels my Inscription is Volatile life, and other Volatile products that are far too expensive. And according to this sight, it says that Mac Frog drops Volatile Life and Lifegiving Seed, but how can it drop anything when it is a critter? So does it really drop anything? I've recently come back to the game as I'm sure many of us have and decided to do some achieves to pass the time. This critter eluded me for some time. With the newer content taking over in Uldum, I've found that the only place to find the Mac Frog and Oasis Moth is in the Cata dungeon Lost City of the Tol'vir.
