I know that I can globally swap the Control and Command in Mac OS and this is not what I need. What I would like to do is keep both buttons as they are and only and make Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, and Ctrl-X work as if they were pressed with the Command button. What is the easiest way to do this?

If you are trying to view the clips with your Mac before copying them to the computer, does the problem persist after you have restarted your Mac?

If you are noticing any other problem since upgrading, have you tried using theOS X Recoveryon your startup drive to completely reinstall Yosemite?

If your only trouble is with your Sony camera's video clips, can you transfer them to your Mac per this Sony article before viewing them?

If you use Sony software in your workflow, check Sony's support site for your camera to check for software or firmware updates for Yosemite compatibility.

Is your Mac up to date with the latest version of the Mac operating system? Is it using the version required by a product that you want to use with your Mac? Which versions are earlier (older) or later (newer, more recent)? To find out, learn which version is installed now.
